The South Placer
Heritage Foundation, a pro bono client, appeared in the June 5, 2003
Loomis News, pg. 1, promoting the Celebrity Chef fundraiser with 24
column inches of space. “Celebrity Chefs will serve up their delectables
at King Road Park” outlined the Community event scheduled for June 14 to
raise money to protect the historic fruit shed in downtown Loomis by adding
a fire sprinkler system. Karen Fraser-Middleton volunteers as the Marketing
Committee chair.
Comcast was described as
“the first cable provider in Sacramento County,” in the Sacramento
Business Journal article, “Cable competition: New home will get fiber
optics,” May 9, 2003 pg. 41. According to the article, Comcast has
“265,000 customers here,” [Sacramento region]. Marketing Action facilitated
a marketing brainstorming meeting for Comcast managers.
A major international convention managed by
Association Resource Center (ARC),
a long-term Marketing Action client, appeared in the Sacramento Bee
on May 26, 2003 “The first Ministerial Conference and Expo on Agricultural
